2 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette remained in a bit of a funk offensively this past weekend against the Houston Astros. Across the three-game series, he went 2-for-11 for two walks and six strikeouts. The 24-year-old now has a 28.2% strikeout rate on the year, up significantly from 19.9% last year. Meanwhile, his two walks over this past weekend were his first two walks of the year. His walk rate on the season is just 2.8%. Bichette is hitting just .217 over 16 games this year, but he has an xBA of .274, so he's likely been a bit unlucky, but it would also certainly help to see him start cutting his strikeouts down soon.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
