3 years agoAfter a gut-wrenching situation at the Memorial two weeks ago, Jon Rahm is set to return to action in this week's U.S. Open at Torrey Pines. Rahm was the 54-hole leader at Memorial but was forced to withdraw - and basically forfeit a win - due to a pair of positive COVID-19 tests. The Spaniard has now finished the PGA Tour's mandated quarantine period and will look to gain a measure of revenge this week. He's been outstanding throughout his career at Torrey Pines, posting a win and three top-seven finishes on the La Jolla track since 2017.
