3 years agoPeter Malnati closed out 2020 with two top-five finishes over his last five starts. Malnati appears to have carried his sharp play into the new year after an opening-round 62 led to a T14 in last week's Sony Open. The East Tennessean will try to stay hot at this week's American Express event. He's had mixed results in the AmEx over the last three years, sandwiching a T18 in 2019 between two missed cuts. Malnati is a streaky player that's tough to predict, but he leads this week's field in birdies or better over the last 24 rounds and is an intriguing value option in DFS tournaments. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
