Sungjae Im Trending In the Right Direction

3 years agoAfter a horrific outing at the Masters, Sungjae Im rebounded to post a T13 at the RBC Heritage two weeks ago. Perhaps the most encouraging sign at Harbour Town was the young Korean's improved iron play. Im gained 3.5 strokes on approach at Heritage, which marked his best performance with the irons since January. He'll need that facet of his game to stay dialed in this week at the Valspar Championship on a Copperhead layout that demands precise ball striking. Im tamed the difficult course back in 2019, posting an impressive T4 in his Valspar debut. Although he's demonstrated some inconsistency over the past month, the up-and-comer must be considered an elite DFS option this week. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
