3 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitching prospect Grayson Rodriguez went 5 1/3 very effective innings pitched on Tuesday for Triple-A Norfolk. Rodriguez struck out 11 and allowed only three hits and three walks in Norfolk's 4-1 win over Charlotte. Rodriguez, the sixth-ranked MLB prospect by MLB Pipeline and second-ranked prospect in the Orioles organization, now owns a 2.65 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and a 57:13 K:BB ratio over 37 1/3 IP in eight starts this year. Rodriguez is one of the top pitching prospects in all of baseball and is knocking at the door to make his MLB debut with Baltimore.
