2 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman Mike Moustakas (calf) is hopeful that the calf injury he sustained in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Mets is not serious, per Cincinnati Enquirer's Bobby Nightengale. Moustakas left Monday's game after injuring his left calf on a fourth-inning single. However, he said after the game, "It feels a little bit better right now and we'll see what happens (Tuesday)." It sounds like he will be day-to-day but avoided a serious injury. The veteran has slashed just .200/.289/.326 with six home runs and 21 RBI this season, so fantasy managers should avoid him even if he is in Tuesday's lineup.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
