2 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels activated outfielder Mike Trout (back, ribs) from the injured list on Friday. After facing live pitching earlier this week, Trout was targeting a return on Friday for the start of the team's series against the Detroit Tigers. The 31-year-old superstar missed five weeks of action with a rare back condition, but Trout has downplayed the injury and will hopefully be fine the rest of the way. He'll return to a .270/.368/.599 slash line with a .967 OPS, 24 home runs, 51 RBI, 55 runs scored and a stolen base in 79 games.
