Tyquan Thornton Suffers Collarbone Injury
2 years agoNew England Patriots rookie wide receiver Tyquan Thornton (collarbone) suffered a collarbone injury in the team's second preseason game against the Carolina Panthers on Friday night. There isn't an exact timetable for Thornton's return, but it doesn't appear to be a season-ending injury. The 22-year-old will almost certainly miss the start of the 2022 regular season and probably more, but stay tuned for more updates on his condition. The second-round selection was unlikely to be much of a factor in single-season fantasy leagues to begin the year, but he's still worth stashing in dynasty/keeper formats. Jakobi Meyers, DeVante Parker and Nelson Agholor figure to open the year in starting three-receiver sets for New England.
