Kenny Golladay Has Been Invisible
2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Kenny Golladay played 21 offensive snaps in Sunday's preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals and didn't receive a single target. The Giants would lose $4.3 million in salary cap space if they were to cut Golladay, so they have no choice but to stick with him and hope he rediscovers his early career form. But The Athletic's Dan Duggan wonders if the new regime will reduce Golladay's role if he continues to be unproductive. The 28-year-old was a big free-agent flop in his first year in New York in 2021, catching 37 passes for 521 yards and no touchdowns. With things not looking up for him heading into 2022, he'll be a WR4/5 option for fantasy managers, at best, in deeper leagues.
