2 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (oblique) said he felt "much, much better" after throwing a bullpen session on Tuesday. He's now scheduled to throw another bullpen on Friday. Carrasco was placed on the 15-day injured list with a strained left oblique last week, but he appears to be making good progress. He was initially expected to miss three to four weeks, so it remains to be seen if he'll be sent on a minor league rehab assignment after he completes a couple bullpen sessions. Before landing on the injured list, the 35-year-old veteran right-hander had gone 13-5 with a 3.92 ERA (3.65 FIP), a 1.29 WHIP and a 124:33 K:BB in 126 1/3 innings over 23 starts in his second year with the Mets.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
