Josh Allen To Be Rested In Preseason Finale
2 years agoThe Buffalo Bills have decided to rest quarterback Josh Allen for their final preseason game on Friday against the Carolina Panthers. Allen got some time with the rest of the starters in the team's blowout win over the Denver Broncos last Saturday and looked to be in midseason form, so there's no reason for the Bills to risk him to injury in the preseason finale. Case Keenum and Matt Barkley will split playing time on Friday against Carolina. Allen finished as the QB1 in fantasy last year while throwing for 4,407 yards, 36 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 17 regular season games, and he also added 763 rushing yards and six more TDs. The 26-year-old should be the first signal-caller off the board in the early rounds of fantasy drafts.
