2 years agoThe Miami Dolphins are working out veteran free-agent outside linebacker Trey Flowers on Wednesday, according to sources. A two-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots, Flowers was released by the Detroit Lions in March, and he just turned 29 years old. In just seven games played with Detroit in 2021 due to injuries, Flowers had 24 tackles (15 solo), 1.5 sacks, three QB hits, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He played in just 14 combined games in his final two seasons with the Lions, but if he can stay healthy, he could provide the Dolphins with quality pass-rushing depth at the position.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
