2 years agoThe Colorado Rockies reinstated right-hander Chad Kuhl (hip) from the 15-day injured list on Thursday and designated right-hander Robert Stephenson for assignment in a corresponding move. Kuhl is expected to rejoin the starting rotation to pitch against the New York Mets on Friday night. The 29-year-old missed three weeks due to a right hip strain, and he'll be extremely risky in fantasy lineups in his first start back against the Mets. He made one minor league rehab start for Triple-A Albuquerque on Aug. 20 and tossed five scoreless innings while striking out six. In 20 starts for the Rockies this year, Kuhl is 6-7 with a 5.16 ERA (5.22 FIP), a 1.52 WHIP and a 76:46 K:BB in 103 innings pitched.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
