Ty France Suffers Calf Bruise
2 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Ty France (calf) left Thursday's game against the Cleveland Guardians early with a right calf bruise. France went hitless in his only at-bat of the game before being replaced by Jake Lamb at the cold corner. Check back for more information on the severity of his injury, but for now, fantasy managers should consider the All-Star first baseman as day-to-day. If he's forced to miss time, Lamb, Carlos Santana and Dylan Moore are all options to fill in at first base. The 28-year-old made his first All-Star team in 2022, but he's hitting just .129 (9-for-70) with a home run, 10 RBI, five runs scored and 13 strikeouts in 17 games in the month of August.
