2 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) was out on the field catching passes from quarterback Patrick Mahomes on Thursday before the team's preseason finale, which is the first time he's been on the field since early last week. The Chiefs are expecting the 25-year-old to be ready for the Week 1 regular season opener against the Arizona Cardinals despite dealing with knee soreness since Aug. 15. Injuries have become a bit of a concern for him after he played in just five games for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021 due to a shoulder injury that required surgery. But when healthy, Smith-Schuster should be one of Mahomes' top targets in a passing game now without Tyreek Hill. Consider him a WR3 with upside in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
