Antonio Gibson To Be Top Kick Returner?
2 years agoWashington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera seemed to name running back Antonio Gibson as the team's top kick returner this year. "You still need to see some more stuff, but you know, I think he is. I do. I think he's done a nice job," Rivera said. Gibson's fantasy stock has been falling basically all offseason, especially since rookie Brian Robinson has looked impressive in training camp. Veteran J.D. McKissic will continue to steal third-down work in Washington as well. The fact that Gibson is working extensively on special teams doesn't bode well for his chances of leading this backfield in touches when all is said and done in 2022. The 24-year-old with fumbling issues has become a volatile RB3/flex in fantasy drafts.
