O.J. Howard In Danger Of Being Cut
2 years agoBuffalo Bills tight end O.J. Howard is in danger of being cut from the roster before the regular season. It was notable that tight end Quintin Morris started in place of Dawson Knox (personal) in the team's second preseason game, and next off the bench was Tommy Sweeney. Howard was on the field for just one play in the opening quarter. A source believes Morris could push Howard off the roster. Howard has garnered a 59.6 Pro Football Focus grade so far in the preseason. The Bills would save $2.25 million if they trade or release Howard before roster cutdown day. The 27-year-old has looked sluggish in training camp after signing a one-year deal in free agency, and he's currently well off the fantasy radar.
