ANALYSIS: The Melk-man cometh! Left for dead by many in fantasy drafts this year, Cabrera has come on of late. Eight hits, two bombs, four RBI, and seven runs scored over the last six games is pretty nice. Batting behind Jose Abreu will help Cabrera's value, as will hitting at U.S. Cellular Field. Cabrera is hitting .333 on the season now and should be on everyone's fantasy radar. The average will likely fall back to the .280-.290 range eventually, but that's more than serviceable. Melky also hit .300 as recently as 2014 so it's not farfetched he could repeat that. Melky will be good for around 15 homers with 70+ RBI, and that deserves to be rostered.
He's a switch hitter too, and with no real competition, so he should be a fixture in the ChiSox lineup. He doesn't have any stolen base value anymore, but his contributions in other offensive categories compensate for that. Grab him before it's too late.
