6 years agoChicago Cubs closer Brandon Morrow (back) expects to come off of the disabled list on Wednesday. Morrow threw a bullpen session on Monday and should be good to go without a minor league rehabilitation assignment. Morrow has already notched a career-high 16 saves this season and should pick up right where he left off for the competitive Cubs. Unfortunately for those that picked up Pedro Strop when Morrow landed on the DL, the Cubs haven't had a save chance since Morrow went down with his injury.--Brendan Kennealy
