6 years agoThe San Francisco Giants are calling up starting pitcher Shaun Anderson to make his Major League debut on Wednesday against the Toronto Blue Jays. The 24-year-old has made seven starts for Triple-A Sacramento this year and has posted a 2-1 record with a 4.11 ERA. Across 58 appearances in the minor leagues, he's 19-14 with a 3.87 ERA with an 8.2 K/9. Anderson makes for an intriguing streaming option against a Toronto Blue Jays team that is currently tied for the 4th-worst team in the MLB at a 16-24 record and are tied for the 3rd-lowest amount of runs scored in the league at 141.--Brendan Kennealy
