Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. Today I am filling in for the CS:GO goat himself, Jorge Pucks, and I hope my analysis is half as good as his is on a daily basis. I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible for your GPP and cash game CS:GO contests on DraftKings which can also be related to FanDuel contests as well.
Once again we have a three-game main slate on DraftKings that involves teams from the DreamHack Masters' Spring 2020 series. FanDuel continues to run only two-game slates with the 8:00 AM game being left off. This makes the strategy for each site very different so keep that in mind if you play CS:GO DFS on both sites. You also have to roster a player from at least three different teams on FanDuel which always adds another wrinkle to the strategy over there and can be annoying (in my opinion) on these two-game slates.
Today I'll be bringing you my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Thursday, May 29th, 2020 at 8:00 AM. Be sure to also check out our awesome CS:GO Premium DFS Tools including our Lineup Optimizer, Research Station, Projections and DFS Cheat Sheets! DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 (Best of 3)
- Vitality (-115) vs ENCE (-120)
- Natus Vincere (-215) vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas (+155)
- 100 Thieves (-115) vs. Evil Geniuses (-120)
CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations
Allu (DK only) is the highest-priced player on the DraftKings as he checks-in at $9,800 and 14,700 at the captain slot. He was solid against Natus Vincere in a 2-0 sweep with 45 kills and is only two matches removed from a brilliant 71-kill performance against CPHF at the Road to Rio tourney. He's the main carry on this ENCE team that has looked solid lately and he's worth paying for with his upside and ability to pile up big numbers in competitive matches, which this match aginst Vitality should be.
S1mple (9,200 DK, 12,000 FD) always deserves consideration at the captain spot on any slate. The guy is a machine and simply one of the best CS:GO players in the game. His 1.32 K/D ratio over the last three months is the best one of the slate and he could feast on a slumping NiP team in this matchup.
ZyWoo (DK only) is the main carry for this Vitality team and has an outstanding 1.22 K/D ratio over the last three months. His teammates have been helping out a lot more lately, but he's still the guy we want to target for his ceiling. At 8,600 on DK he's very fairly priced and is a nice value at captain at 12,900 compared to allu and S1mple with just as much upside as both of them.
Other captain plays: Plopski, jkaem, Gratisfaction
CS:GO DFS Value Plays
Liazz is only 5,000 again on this slate despite posting 72 DK points in 100T's win over C9. He's sitting a cool 1.33 K/D ratio for the tournament and has now topped 70 DK points in two straight matches. It's hard to pass up that type of upside at this price and he makes for an excellent punt in cash games. Even if 100T were to get swept somehow, the DK rules that award rounds not played to the losing team would still give him a 25-30 DK point floor which you would take at this price for the salary relief.
Shox is only 6,600 on this slate despite posting a monster 95 DK-point game yesterday against NIP in which he racked up an impressive 47 kills and only 19 deaths. He's bit hit or miss, but has been great lately with a 1.18 K/D ratio at this event and a solid 1.03 K/D ratio over the last three months. He correlates well with the primary play from Vitality, Zywoo.
Other value plays: Electronic, jkaem, AZR

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks
100 Thieves (OHT) are my favorite team to stack today and offer a ton of salary relief on both sites. This team is playing well right now, winning three of their last five and coming off two straight 2-0 sweeps of good teams in Cloud9 and Gen.G. All five guys are carrying K/D ratios of 1.0 or better over the last three months, with jks, Gratisfaction, and jkaem all being 1.1 or better players. As I mentioned earlier, Liazz is a tremendous value and AZR is also playing well, so I wouldn't hesitate to mix up your 100T stacks tomorrow to get some exposure to several different two or three-player combos. Despite being slight underdogs, I think they handle this slumping Evil Geniuses team, which has nothing to play for as they have already been eliminated from moving on from this group.
ENCE looked great in their win over NaVi today and are slight favorites against a solid Vitality team. This match could go either way, so I'll have some Vitality exposure, too, but I really like the addition of Jamppi to this already solid ENCE squad. He's a solid 1.18 K/D player over the last three months and showed very quickly some nice upside with a 71 DK-point game against NaVi. He makes for a nice stacking partner with Allu, who leads ENCE with a 1.45 K/D ratio over the last month and is the main guy to build your ENCE stacks around. SergeJ and Sunny are the other two ENCE players in consideration for me, with Sunny being a solid value.
Other stacks/teams: Natus Vincere (S1mple, Electronic), Vitality (Zywoo, Shox)
