4 years agoWith the 257th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions have selected Oregon State running back Jermar Jefferson. Jefferson is arguably one of the top 10 running back prospects in this year's draft, making this a huge steal for the Lions. The issue for Jefferson? This team didn't really need a running back, as they have second-year back D'Andre Swift plus Jamaal Williams and Kerryon Johnson. Jefferson had 858 yards and seven touchdowns last season for Oregon State in just six games. He's a nice back, but it's hard to see him getting too many opportunities this season.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
