4 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Ryan Mountcastle had a big game at the plate in Saturday's 12-9 loss to the Nationals, going 2-for-4 with a double, a grand slam, and a strikeout. Mountcastle smashed a first-inning bases-loaded Jon Lester fastball into the bullpen to give the O's a 5-0 lead. The 24-year-old has had an inconsistent and overall disappointing season so far, slashing .222/.246/.354 with four home runs and 20 RBI. He will need to start hitting like he did last season before fantasy managers can trust him again.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
