Randall Cobb, Keke Coutee Will Compete For Slot Snaps
3 years agoThe Houston Texans have a lot of new faces at wide receiver this season, but the battle for slot snaps is expected to be between two players who were on last year's team, with Randall Cobb and Keke Coutee competing for those minutes. Cobb was limited to 10 games last season because of injury, catching 38 passes for 441 yards and three touchdowns. Coutee, who'll be entering his last year under contract, has had an uneven Texans career, but being freed from head coach Bill O'Brien allowed him to get snaps at the end of the year, with Coutee finishing with 33 catches for 400 yards and three touchdowns. It's unclear who has the lead in this position battle at this point, but whoever wins out will have some sleeper appeal in full PPR leagues.
