3 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez (heel) will return to the Cubs lineup on Tuesday versus the Cincinnati Reds. Baez suffered from a sore heel at the end of Sunday's game and didn't start on Monday. Baez did pinch-hit on Monday, though, and hit a game-winning single in the bottom of the ninth inning. Baez will bat in the cleanup spot on Tuesday evening versus Vladimir Gutierrez, and fantasy managers should feel safe placing Baez back into their lineups. The talented shortstop is a trade candidate, and his days could be numbered with the Cubs, but he should continue to be productive on any team. Baez is hitting .245 with 22 home runs, 65 RBI and 13 stolen bases this year.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
