Sonny Gray Struggles With Control On Friday
3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray struggled in an 8-7 loss to the Washington Nationals on Friday. Gray allowed four runs over four innings while striking out three and walking four. He struggled with his control, throwing just 52 of 88 pitches for strikes on the way to tying a season-high with four free passes. Gray now has a 7-8 record, 3.99 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 149 strikeouts over 130 2/3 innings of work. He is lined up to make his final start of the regular season against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday.
