Saros went 8-2-2 to go along with a 2.49 goals-against average and .934 save percentage to begin the new year. The 26-year-old allowed two or fewer goals in eight of his 12 starts. On the season, Saros has posted a 23-11-3 record, 2.36 goals-against average, a .927 save percentage and two shutouts through 37 appearances.
