12 games make up Wednesday's slate of NBA action. On a night with this many games, I always try and draft a more well-rounded squad instead of unloading the proverbial bank account on just one or two players.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/8/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DraftKings DFS Guards
Kyrie Irving - PG, @ IND ($7,700)
Kyrie Irving has been Mr. Clutch since last year's NBA Finals, building off of his famous game-deciding shot against the Golden State Warriors. The Cavaliers have been playing in a ton of tight contests of late, a trend that will likely continue against Paul George and the Indiana Pacers. Kyrie has posted a double-double in two of four games, and has established himself as a reliable pick in daily fantasy. I'm mostly a fan of his ceiling and upside, as he's proven capable of breaking out for 50 or 60 fantasy points.
Dwyane Wade - SG, @ GS ($7,800)
The Warriors have been the best team in the league all season. The Chicago Bulls have not been playing up to their potential of late, but have a better record at home. Good news, considering Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and company are coming to the stadium made famous by Michael Jordan. Luckily for Dwyane Wade, the Warriors have been surprisingly vulnerable against shooting guards this season and allow the most fantasy points to the position. This will certainly be a high scoring affair, consisting of a ton of bloated stat lines.
Jamal Murray - PG/SG, @ ATL ($4,000)
Jamal Murray is the first option on this list that will help you free up cap space to afford the likes of Irving and Wade. Murray, despite a sore right groin, has posted 20-plus fantasy points in six straight contests. He has seen a lot more court time in the absence of Emmanuel Mudiay's, a role that could only increase the more time Mudiay misses. Regardless, Murray is a solid play in what should be a competitive matchup against the Atlanta Hawks.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Matt Barnes - SF/PF, vs BOS ($5,800)
DeMarcus Cousins will not be participating in Wednesday night's showdown against the Boston Celtics. Cousins received two technicals during Monday night's contest, automatically resulting in a one game suspension. With the being said, the offensive production has to come from somewhere, especially with Rudy Gay out as well. Barnes is coming off two straight impressive showings, 37.75 and 37.5 fantasy points, and has been producing in a recent increased role where he has seen 30 or more minutes in four straight games. Look for Barnes to help pick up the slack.
Karl-Anthony Towns - PF/C, vs TOR ($9,800)
Karl-Anthony Towns is becoming a must-pick every time he laces up. His price continues to bounce back and forth between four and five digits, but still isn't unreasonable. Towns recently snapped his 10-game double-double streak, but still dropped 35 points and grabbed eight boards against the surging Miami Heat. Over his last 34 contests, Towns has failed to post a double-double only four times. His impressive play should continue against a Toronto Raptors squad that has struggled against the big man all season, and that allow the sixth most fantasy points to the position.
Davis Bertans - SF/PF, @ PHI ($3,700)
Davis Bertans is certainly a punt play for daily fantasy, but could find some more opportunity against the Philadelphia 76ers. Once the hottest team in January, the Sixers have fallen back into their losing ways, and have dropped four straight. The San Antonio Spurs could find themselves up early, where Gregg Popovich will rest most of his starters, ushering Bertans onto the court for an extended role. The last time these two teams faced off, Bertans dropped 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two from downtown in 30 minutes of playing time, good for 28 fantasy points.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Andre Drummond - C, vs LAL ($8,600)
Andre Drummond has struggled a bit, failing to post double-digit rebounds twice over his last four games, but heads into a favorable matchup versus a Los Angeles Lakers team that he found much success against the last time these two teams met. In the middle of January, Drummond dropped 15 points and 17 rebounds over 32 minutes of court time. Despite his recent inconsistency, Drummond is nearly a sure thing to post double-digit rebounds, and could feast on a Lakers squad that allows the fourth most points a night.
Al Horford - C, @ SAC ($7,200)
With Cousins suspended for Wednesday night's contest, Al Horford could have a much easier time producing. Horford is already coming off of a huge 50-plus fantasy point night where he posted a double-double against the Los Angeles Clippers, and will look to build off his momentum against a short-handed Kings team.
