Josh Jacobs A Low-End RB2 In NFL Debut
5 years agoOakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs will make his NFL debut on the national stage in Monday night's contest versus the Broncos. He faces a difficult challenge against a tough Denver defense who gave up just 10 rushing touchdowns to RBs a season ago. It remains to be seen how much the Raiders will utilize the first-round rookie in the passing game in the early going, but the team has made it known they want Jacobs to be a three-down back. He should see enough volume in Week 1 to contribute low-end RB2 numbers despite a below-average matchup.
