We have the largest slate since the All Star break with 11 games on the NBA schedule tonight. Denver, Phoenix, Orlando, and Brooklyn are all on the tail end of a back-to-back set here. Therefore, I fully expect this article to be irrelevant by noon. Most of the information contained herein will be the same though, so we may just have to look at different ways to attack the same weaknesses. On a slate this large, we shouldn't have to reach. If you don't see a ceiling from said player, move on.
First of all, it’s important to look at the pace and Vegas lines. Second, it’s also useful to understand the number of fantasy points a team gives up to a specific position. The final tip is to identify value plays that are critical on a slate of any size. You don’t have to necessarily go for the cheapest value, but you want to identify players who have a high floor and a high ceiling. On a slate this large there are going to be lots of plays at every level. Identifying the value will determine whether you hit minimum cash or are contending for a takedown.
This article will supply you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the DraftKings on 3/24/21. You can also check out today’s FanDuel lineup picks. It’s also important to monitor injury news as a result of COVID-19 as the slate can completely change before line-up lock. Without further ado, let’s dive into the picks!

DraftKings DFS Guards
Luka Doncic - PG, at Minnesota ($11,000)
This is another elite matchup for Luka. If it seems like he's had a lot of those lately he has. The last four games have come against the Clippers and Trail Blazers, neither of which defend the point well. The result is 260.5 DraftKings points over the last four games. One of those games was a game that Dallas won by 40 points. Luka still racked up 53.25 DraftKings points. His floor might be 60 tonight, which is not something that happens often. Luka is the safest play on the entire slate. The upside is also big enough to run him in GPP formats.
John Wall - PG, vs. Charlotte ($7,600)
Okay, so apparently monitoring Wall's minutes means that he wont play all 48. Each of the last two games - in a back to back mind you - it was stated by the Rockets coaching staff that Wall would have his minutes monitored. He played 71 of the 82 minutes in those games. Even if they say Wall's minutes will be limited again, it seems reasonable that he'll play 35 minutes against a poor perimeter defense in Charlotte. This is another spot where Wall is underpriced. On a night where you need at least 400 for a takedown, Wall's ability to exceed 7x value can vault you up the leaderboard.
Tyrese Haliburton - PG/SG, vs. Atlanta ($5,700)
The Kings have rolled out a lineup featuring Fox, Haliburton, and Buddy Hield in the starting five. It has been relatively successful from a scoring standpoint, so I would expect it to continue. Haliburton racked up a career-high 28 actual points on Cleveland on Monday night, playing 36 minutes. The minutes restriction is off of Haliburton, and he is only getting better as part of the starting lineup. His ceiling is also somewhere north of 7x, which is what we should be shooting for on a night like this with 11 games.

DraftKings DFS Forwards
Domantas Sabonis - PF/C, vs. Detroit ($10,700)
Having Sabonis eligible at PF is big because center is loaded tonight. This way we can run Sabonis with a couple of centers if we want. This is a nice spot against a Detroit team that Sabonis ravaged for 58.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting. If Malcolm Brogdon is forced to sit out again, we could see more usage go Sabonis's way, but he may not even need it. He has cleared 60 twice since the All Star break. He's a threat to do it again tonight.
Richaun Holmes - PF/C, vs. Atlanta ($7,100)
The inconsistency from Holmes is a bit of a problem, but that makes him perfect for GPP's. If he consistently got those 40 DraftKings points, his price would be about $2,000 higher. Now when Holmes hits a ceiling, it's around 7-8x value. There is potential for that against Atlanta if he can stay out of foul trouble. Holmes has cleared 7x value in three of his last five games. In the games that he didn't he had a combined 47.75 DraftKings points. It's hard to roster a guy with those kind of consistency issues, but he has a good matchup and is guaranteed minutes if he keeps the fouls in check.
Bogdan Bogdanovic - SF/PF, at Sacramento($4,000)
This is a revenge spot for Bogdan. Yes, I know that Atlanta is fully loaded on the wings. I also know that they gave Bodgan a truckload of money to move East. Bogdan's two subpar games against the Lakers have served to suppress his price. We saw what he did to the Thunder before those two games with the Lakers. His minutes should remain in the high 20's, which is more than enough time for him to clear 7x value at this price.

DraftKings DFS Centers
Nikola Jokic - C, at Tampa-ronto ($10,700)
Jokic nearly had a triple-double by halftime last night against a guy who had outstanding numbers against him in Nikola Vucevic. I'm not worried about the matchup and I'm not worried about the minutes. Jokic is one of the elite DFS players because he contributes in every single category. The ownership is going to be very high considering last night's game and the fact that the cRaptors have lost ten in a row. He may still be worth it in GPP formats. I don't know how you can get away with not using him in cash games.
Rudy Gobert - C, vs. Brooklyn ($8,400)
You wont get Gobert at low ownership tonight like you did on Monday. That doesn't mean we should look away from him though. Gobert doesn't have the ceiling that Jokic does, but is Tampa really going to keep the game close enough for Denver not to get their stars some rest on the tail end of a back-to-back? Gobert is a nice hedge here against an interior that just keeps getting owned game after game. Just look at what Enes Kanter did to them last night. Gobert's ceiling is just as high as what Jokic's output will actually be and he's significantly cheaper.
Ivica Zubac - C, at San Antonio ($5,500)
Serge Ibaka is still out again so we don't have to play the guessing game with Zubac. He is locked in to 25-35 minutes per game. The only game in which he didn't get to 30 DraftKings points in Ibaka's absence was in a blowout win over Charlotte in which he only played 25 minutes. The minutes should be here tonight in a solid matchup against San Antonio. Zubac has a low ceiling, so he's probably better kept for salary relief in cash games.
