Eric Gordon Will Miss Thursday’s Game
3 years agoHouston Rockets small forward Eric Gordon (groin) has been ruled out for Thursday's contest against the Clippers due to a sore right groin. Gordon won't play on the second leg of a back-to-back, having fired up a season-high 24 field goal attempts in Wednesday's loss to Phoenix. Gordon's absence paves the way for Garrison Mathews to draw starting duties, thereby elevating his DFS upside. When healthy, Gordon can be viewed as a consistent source of three-pointers, operating as one of Houston's primary scorers. His next chance to take the floor comes next Friday vs. Orlando.
