3 years agoMilwaukee Bucks shooting guard/small forward Grayson Allen (hip) has been ruled out for Thursday's contest against the 76ers due to a sore left hip. Allen's absence paves the way for Wesley Matthews to step into both a larger minutes allotment and offensive role, particularly from behind the arc. Allen has averaged a career-best 2.5 made triples per outing this season en route to averaging 11.5 PPG. He will have the next week-plus to heal up, with his next chance to take the floor coming next Saturday vs. Brooklyn, who boasts the league's best defense in limiting the opponents' three-point makes (33.1%).--Jesse Borek
