4 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Jose Iglesias is looking to end his first half on a high note when the Angels open up a weekend series against the Mariners beginning Friday. Iglesias is 8-for-25 (.320) with three runs batted in and five runs scored over his last seven games. After a surprisingly productive offensive season last year with the Tigers, the veteran has come back to earth this season and is posting a .698 OPS through 271 at-bats this season. Iglesias will head into the weekend slashing .273/.306/.391 with seven home runs, 11 doubles and 27 runs batted in through 72 games played this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
